Our commitment

BENTO Asian Kitchen + Sushi values an inclusive online experience and is committed to making reasonable, good-faith efforts to improve the accessibility and usability of this website for people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we work to enhance our content over time so that it is more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for as broad an audience as reasonably possible.

Our goal

We use the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1), Level AA, as a guide and reference point for our efforts. These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. While we strive to align with these guidelines, we do not represent or warrant that every page or feature of the site is fully conformant at all times, and accessibility remains a goal we continue to work toward as the site evolves.

Measures we take

Rather than relying on an automated accessibility overlay, we aim to build accessibility into how this website is designed and developed. Among the measures we work to apply are:

  • Using semantic HTML and landmark regions intended to help assistive technologies interpret page structure.
  • Providing a “Skip to main content” link and working toward a logical heading order to support navigation.
  • Supporting keyboard navigation, with focus styles for interactive elements where practical.
  • Working to provide text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptive labels for buttons, links, and form fields.
  • Keeping color contrast and readable typography in mind, with WCAG 2.1 AA as a reference.
  • Aiming to support current versions of widely used browsers and assistive technologies, including common screen readers.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some pages, sections, or features may not yet be fully accessible, may be in the process of being improved, or may rely on third-party content, services, or technologies that are outside our direct control. We do not guarantee that the site is free of accessibility barriers. Where we become aware of issues, we make reasonable efforts to address them and to offer alternative means of access where appropriate.
